Create an extended outreach of up to 8 ft using our existing 5x5 H-beam system, while keeping installation as easy and safe as possible.
The Cable Truss Assembly has been used in the industry for a long time, but it is frequently over tightened, or otherwise not installed correctly (don’t use 2 ft splice tubes) which could lead to rollover failures. Below is a link to an article discussing the right and wrong way to install the Cable Truss.
By using the 8 ft splice tube instead, we eliminate the need for a cable truss system and along with it, confusion on the proper parts to use and tension needed on the cable truss. The beam with splice tube(s) is assembled with quick pins and no manual adjustments are required. This virtually eliminates mistakes and makes installation easier, safer and faster.
1.We recommend using a 3 ft splice tube (#920183) to connect the middle beam to the rear to keep the bowing of the beam to a minimum.
2.When used in combination with our Rolling Outrigger Beam, a slightly bigger front mast head is required to accept the 8 ft splice tube (#920205).
